Toothwort

This rather ghostly plant comes up every year at Howe Ridding in the spring. It is a parasitic Toothwort and needs no chlorophyll. Other than that, only a few bumblebees and 10 butterflies on the transect. I looked at the first page in my notebook, it was for 21st April 2014 and listed 40 butterflies.
