Nower Wood

An educational nature reserve run by Surrey Wildlife Trust.

A day out with the little ones for minibeast hunts and pond dipping. It rained and rained and rained .... and of course the sun made an appearance as we were leaving. We found tadpoles, newts and a dragonfly larvae, which was very large and they think it could be a superior dragonfly, amongst lots of other pond life.

A fab, if somewhat soggy... no saturated, day and the children were great.
