The old wall

This old wall at a local station intrigues me. I love its patina of age. Such tales it could tell, of Royalty exiled locally way back, of wartime Eastenders decamping from blitzed London, of ‘60s miniskirts and ‘80s shoulder pads passing by. No wonder it looks the way it does. What a colourful history it has had.
