CRANE FLY
In the morning I trimmed a big geranium (pelargonium) and planted some tops in little pots. And then Piet Hein and I continued our DIY job.
We had to be creative in the end and after searching pieces of wood that would make the construction stable and found them, we were reasonably satisfied. Tomorrow I will paint the pieces of wood dark blue like the other parts. Piece of cake. I have not finished the screw job. The last time I ever tried to make some order in the enormous diversity of shapes I had little knowledge of screws. Now I know a lot more and that makes it not easier.
I sometimes wonder how we have collected this amount of screws.
After lunch we walked along the Diemel canal, such a pretty walk with meadows at one side, and vegetable gardens at the other side.
We sat in the grass and I saw all kinds of insects.
They did hide mostly when I came near. Not this crane fly.
