Popped over the river to Tiso where I bought some vastly expensive new boots for walking. They're mega-comfortable, mind. Had better do some more walking, then.

Went across to Dunfermline to try and sort out the madness that had occurred when I'd bought us tickets to the fitba' via the website. (Turned out lots of other folk had had problems too....). So we were able to view "Dave's" island in full daylight, or as much daylight as passed for full on a fairly dreich day. The nearest bit, almost in the centre, is apparently the cliffs where the puffins nest!

Should have been going out there with D on Thursday but slightly sprained my ankle coming off an imperceptible litte kerb in Leith St, so may have to delay my first visit. Pah!
