An old door into the walled garden

This old door somehow seems like a question. It looks as if it has not been used for a very long time. 
The padlock is rusty and the plants grow around the base of the entrance. 
It is part of the walled garden at Packwood House National Trust in Warwickshire,.
The garden is among some of my favourite places to visit.
