Spring Reflections with a Loon

Dear Diary,

The trees along the pond are budding out and casting pink tints into the water.  Spring is a great time to photograph reflections if the water is still.  Mr. Loon decided to add a special touch to the scene by diving and circling around leaving tiny ripples in his wake.  The cry of a loon is one of my favorite sounds here in Maine.  Haunting I've always thought.

Things will really heat up today.  After all our rain, I will probably be able to see the grass growing!  Andrew will most likely be doing the first mow next week.  Matt will be here tomorrow to finish up the yard work and put the air conditioners in upstairs.  The beat goes on...
