Hot hostas

It was very hot but the house was delightfully cool. Much time taken arriving at a colour for the oak and beam ceilings. I scuffed around inside doing a bit of clearing and picked some stones in a desultory way from one of the areas (in shade) that I have recently cultivated.

The house work is nearing completion and the builders are starting to cart away the huge amounts of scaffolding they needed.
