Big up to big table

My son needed a bed so we got the pieces of this one out of the loft. We couldn't find the screws, so I phoned the company I'd bought it from 32 years ago to ask what size screws I needed to assemble it.
They said: "This happens a lot. Just drop by and we'll give you a set."
No charge.
And they came in a little bag.
(The company is called Big Table Furniture).

Which prompts the self-answering question: How are they still in business if they do things like that?
