Cartmel Fell

I went for a walk with a friend and she suggested starting at St Anthony's Church, Cartmel Fell in the Winster Valley.  Not somewhere you would happen upon.

We had hoped to see bluebells but not too many were out - so probably another week for them to be looking at the best.

Quick sandwich lunch at the Mason's Arms - No 1 son's favourite haunt.

No 2 son phoned to say his travel plans were in place for the end of the month for my big birthday.  Really pleased.
