Hawthorn Bud

Out on our afternoon walk today I did find some super teeny tiny toadstools but all the dogs (five of them) came running back to see what I was up to!  They began to nudge my elbow, nestling under my arm to get my attention and one of them kept dropping his very soggy tennis ball between my knees waiting for me to throw it for him - suffice to say I gave up :-)  I can always go back.  Luckiely earlier in the day I had found this soldier like piece of hawthorn standing to attention in the sun.
