Clear Blue Skies

You wouldn't believe it was May.
One of the guys who delivered my nice new Lazboy was saying that he had to scrape the ice off his car this morning (and he only stays 10 miles away).

I put the extension tubes in my pocket this morning when I took PD out. Having both of them on the lens is maybe a bit much... This shot had the blossom touching the from element of the lens! Backing off a fraction helped.

Sunlight through the new leaves was what I was really after and the added colour on the beech leaves was a nice bonus.

After the early walk SWMBO and I met Chicken Lady and Mrs Mac for breakfast. It is so long we all sat and had a good natter.
