In Flight
I wasn't sure I would even have the energy to blip today, after a day of travel yesterday and staying up late to watch the hockey playoffs which went into overtime. BTW, the Knights won and lead the second round of the playoff series 2 games to1! Yay!
It is a gorgeous day here, weather similar to the kind we left behind in Texas. I parked myself on a chair in the garden where the carpenter bees were buzzing around and tried to get an in-flight shot. I won't embarrass myself by telling you how many shots it took to get one in focus. I wasted an incredible amount of time. I recall that I had a similar BLIP about a year ago where I also wasted time trying to do the same thing. I am not sure I got any better at this, but you can decide for yourself.
I still have oodles of photos to go through from the Bobb2018 Blipmeet in Texas. All the participants have tagged them BoBB2018, so please have a look at some of the amazing birds that we saw. The Gulf Coast of Texas has probably the largest variety and number of migratory birds in North America during this time of year. In addition to all the amazing birds, it was such fun to be with so many amazing people who share the same passion for nature photography.
Many thanks to Riwaka7 for hosting Tiny Tuesday this month. Be sure to tag your blips TT153
