This tiny hoverfly is about all I could find on my backyard safari this afternoon. How amazing is the colour of it's eyes!

A lovely autumn morning on the golf course followed by an enjoyable lunch. Needless to say, there were no thank you speeches required from my partner and I, but we had a few laughs and that's what really matters isn't it ;-)))
