Goodbye Hawaii!

I was waiting for Glenn in the lobby and shot this photo as our farewell to Kauai. To be honest, I am happy to be going home. I enjoyed the trip and had a nice time, but just ready to be back to my everyday. It is hard to go to these wonderful places but be limited to what we can see. I want to go go go but Glenn can't. He can ride in the car but if anything requires walking, he can't do it. So, I either go by myself(which I did many times) or I don't go at all(which I also did many times). I hope I don't sound insensitive. It breaks my heart to see him in pain. It's just hard.

I have to say that the flight home was MUCH better than the flight over. Why? Because I upgraded us to economy plus yesterday. I happened to look at the flight schedule and there were two open seats together in plus. It isn't very much money to upgrade and I am so very happy we did. With my long legs it was delightful to have ample room to stretch them out and not have the person in front of my laying back in my lap(like on the way there). We landed in SanFrancisco, got our car and hit the road north. We wanted to get a couple hours in tonight so we can take our time driving up to Oregon tomorrow. It is 2:07am so I best go get some sleep.
