Cooking and teething

We had a long day: we drove out of town to “visit” my brother at the cemetery as today would have been his 47th birthday. We then had lunch with my dad, and drove back home, where a friend came over to pick out a bag out of my rather too big collection. She left with two backpacks.

The thing is that Henri didn’t sleep much today. He freaks out when we go under an overpass or in a tunnel, so he slept only 30 minutes on our way there. And then he refused to nap. So by the time I was making dinner (a veggie and pork sauté in a peanut sauce), he was done and demanding. Teething is not easy when you’re sleep deprived. So the carrier came to the rescue and he loved watching me cook.
