Herons R’ us

A bit hard to see: you’ll need to zoom it up, but that’s a Blue Heron up there. There were actually three in that tree, around the corner from our apartment, and another flying about. It’s a whole little family. The best is there and They had three chicks this spring. One came a cropper on the lawn below, but this looked to be the other two, plus mum & dad. We’ll be happy to leave the apartment, which seems small after our house, but we’ll miss the location.
