Wet

It rained hard today so it was just as well that we had things to do.  The electrician came this morning to do some upgrading work.  This included laying a new earth cable and I got the job of preparing the trench and sink hole - an hour's solid digging in the rain!  In the afternoon we went to help elderly friends who need a new fridge.  More physical exertions loading and unloading the new one.  I made pork casserole with apple and sage, and N made Dauphinoise potatoes to accompany.  Feelgood food for a wet day.
