May Eve

OMG, two nice days in a row. Today was gorgeous, wall to wall sunshine, warm and sunny and we have worked all day in the garden. 

Tomorrow is of course May Day which heralds in Bealtaine, the official start of our summer. It will all be happening at Uisneach , the navel of Ireland! (take a look at the videos, 2015 is especially good). No fires here but I will be washing my face in the early morning dew to ensure continued radiance. I've just looked at the forecast. I think there will be plenty of invigorating moisture around - I may as well wash everything.

May posy is on the doorstep but a bit meagre compared to last year's - no lilac or crabapple blossom out yet. Beannachtaí Bealtaine.
