Snowy Lights
We had more snow dumped on us, although this time, the rain came in during the afternoon to turn everything to ice for the evening.
This is the point in the season where all the snow falling down in feet gets less exciting and more annoying. It's begun to pile up on top of more snow, and all that winter wonderland beauty is just becoming dirty and disgusting from sanded roads getting kicked up onto the sides. And on top of the mess, it's been bitterly cold recently. It's as though the warm and cheerful Christmas season keeps the cold at bay, but January gives way to freezing arctic winds and Santa turns over to Jack Frost!
Today I had to muster up the energy to leave the house, so we went to the library for awhile. I got some books for Sean and a couple on digital photography for myself. I ordered a book on Photoshop and am still awaiting it's arrival in the mail. Since going back to school is not in the foreseeable future, I thought I'd teach myself a thing or two. I always liked learning something on my own, because it's my time; when I want, how I want. Like an online college, but it's hard to learn photography online, since it's a hands-on experience, so thank Heaven for blip! I get such great practice!
