Bamburgh Castle
We decided on a trip to the coast today and so glad we did. Despite driving through a shower of rain we did not regret our decision. First stop was Dunstanburgh Castle encountering a hare along the country roads. A delightful walk from Craster followed by time exploring the castle.
From there we followed the coast road to Bamburgh and a walk along the beach. This brought back memories of bringing Year 5 pupils on their first residential trip to this area. However I have to admit it’s easier to organise a husband and dog!
Out of the many photographs taken I liked this the best. Blue skies, croquet and Bamburgh castle what a great combination. On the way home we were dive bombed by a Heron intent on fishing in a nearby stream. What a great start to our week away.
