Pumpkin

There was a pumpkin in our veg box this week. It was a bit green but after a couple of days by the radiator it has turned orange. Arran and I turned it into a big pan of pumpkin soup this evening-yum.
It has been a big week for Arran (and it's only Tuesday). Yesterday we found out that he is a finalist in a national art competition for a project that he did at school. Today he was elected to represent Dingwall in Youth Voice Scotland. The young people have a wide range of opportunities to 'have their say' and are also involved in taking forward their own agenda and tackling issues that are important to them.
Alongside that he is making his subject choices at school-decisions, decisions.
