Silver Saturday

A day at Murrayfield enjoying the rugby with friends. The ticket for Silver Saturday, entitled you to see various cup games. Todays blip captures the rugby cup final between the top Scottish clubs (semi pro). The Melrose winger is seen here just about to score a try. The seats we had in the stand was in full sunlight for most of the day, so I spent most of the day shielding my eyes from the brighteness of the sun, a problem I had not really anticipated!

The main attraction to Silver Saturday was arguably the 1872 decider between Glasgow Warriers and Edinburgh Rugby clubs, the two professionals teams in Scotland. Edinburgh won.
