Leaving In A Hurry

It was an interesting morning for birds.
This guy landed beside my pond (probably spotted a frog) and took off as soon as I picked up my camera........ and the Robin was back - apparently sleeping on the edge of the road (this time on the outside of the hedge).
I am assuming that it is sleeping although it looks blind. I can't see it getting to this point in its if it was blind.

It is an early Blip today as SWMBO and I are out this evening for a rescheduled concert.
