You Can keep your Hat In

Apart from the blue Hair day - and a wee wash and blow dry in January for Party; I haven’t had my roots done since December!!!!

It showed

Today was hair day.  Typically the hair salon is so busy we are bouncing seats to get people washed or rinsed or just sat down and I just love the buzz and all the chat.

Today it was remarkably quiet....   for a wee bit.  But there were seats for everyone and seats to spare and plenty going on outside the window for us to enjoy.

Parking cones outside the church typically signals a wedding and we were treated to The sight of all the guest arriving - as you can imagine with approximately 12 women peering through a window at a church entrance  full of guests arriving in their finest garb. There was plenty for us to talk about.  Especially the arrival of umpteen brownies and guides in uniform and a selection of Hospice workers also in uniform - this was obviously a dedicated member of the community getting married

Then the volkswagen campervan arrived and the bridesmaid disembarked.  They were beautiful, in what I like to call "Nude Purple". and then in a little volkswagen beetle, marked "53"  The bride arrived. 

She was in  what I like to call "Nude Cream".  Also, very beautiful. 

The groom was wearing a salmon pink tie, with a red tartan kilt, which confused us a lot. 

Anyways. I got my hair done, we all peered out the window - i gave up any dignity and wandered across the road in my gown and foils,  and had a peer into the car. 

Then they got married, I got blonde.  

And then we went home and later on we went out to eat
