So Close ... But So Far

Sometimes you just leave yourself too much to do. This is the scorecard from tonight's game of bowls. We got off to a bad start and almost nicked it at the end. I played like a plum this week, so we probably didn't quite deserve it.

Had a quiet morning in the hotel before heading home. It was a cracking celebration of our first anniversary. We were given VIP treatment last night in the restaurant and had an amazing meal. Thank you once more to all the staff at Holland House for all that you did a year ago and what you did for us yesterday.

Back to work tomorrow, and a small matter of moving house in the next four weeks!
