Photography club, John Barclay

At a march recently I met a man who told me about the local photography club. It had never occurred to me that there were photography clubs. Today I went to one of their events and met them. It was the first time in decades that I’ve gone into a group of strangers for a subject that I don’t know. It turns out I do know a lot. There was nothing John discussed that was new to me. It was good for me to get out of my comfort zone, and it astonished my wife and my friend Jill that this was even outside my comfort zone.

The event was held in a nice location with a large theater. The building also had this nice swimming pool that I took a picture of through the glass.

Outside I remembered that I can take pano with my iPhone. I a heron and ducks. Then in a park walk tonight I saw seven deer and a duck couple. It will be great to have my camera and zoom lens capability back - Tuesday night!
