promise of peaches

Amazing to think these beautiful little blooms could become peaches by the end of the summer!
In all the seven summers we have lived in this condo, we have eaten the fruit of this tree only two times. Some years the blossoms froze before they could produce fruit. Some years the small, unripe peaches were eaten by the birds before we get any.
Maybe we'll get lucky this year!
