Pie time

Lunch today with a friend in a decidedly un-posh local restaurant. We had tasty pie, mash and traditional parsley liquor. Next time I’ll have the stewed eels they also do. It brought back happy childhood memories of trips with my sister to Manzes, the local eel and pie shop in Woolwich, south London, where we lived when I was very young.
