A subdued day at school today as we heard that one of the lovely TA’s has been diagnosed with breast cancer. It was quite a shock and I have been on an emotional wobble all day.

I left school late, but decided to walk the dogs rather than get Mr PB to do it when he got home. With all the rain the woods are amazing. The bright red trunks of the red woods and lime green of the new foilege is beautiful. Time to reflect

Panic and stress. Mr PB has read the Cal Mac Ferry has been re routed whilst a major repair is underway to one of the ships. We go 4 weeks today! This has caused us a huge nightmare. We spent most of the evening thinking, planning and searching the net for alternative routes. When your on a bicycle, and planned each day, booked all accommodation this sort of Unexpected situation can put a holiday in jeopardy
