Sandy Rose

I think giving storms names that do not represent said storm is stupid. Who the hell came up with 'Sandy'? It feels like summer nights and drive-ins* and not at all like what they were predicting.

I spent the entire day (after work) glued to the tv, watching it all unfold. Such devastation. And even at 700 miles from Hoboken, which their mayor said was: "filling like a bathtub" I heard the wind howling around the house.

But I also have a blooming rose in the backyard. Nature never seizes to amaze me.




*oh yeah, it's a Grease reference. I went there.
