Knightshayes Court
Today was supposed to be a nice day so I persuaded Sav that we should use it to take a trip to a National Trust property. We've visited most of the ones around us, upto about an hour and a half's travelling, so had to go a bit further today.
We chose Knightshayes Court near Tiverton, about 2 hrs away. Unfortunately the weather wasn't quite as bright as we'd hoped, but at least it didn't rain.
Knighsthayes is a gothic Victorian mansion, with extensive grounds of formal gardens, a kitchen garden and woodland walks. We will definately be going back to see it at different times of the year.
This is a shot of the Pool Garden, where I spent a considerable amount of time trying to photograph a dragonfly to no avail!
