Just A Spoonful of Sugar...

Five of us went to see our niece Sophie in her high school's  production of Mary Poppins. Sophie plays the flute in the orchestra.

It was very good. The singing, the acting, the instruments, the sets, and the special effects. (You can't see it, but I'm giving it my dainty opera clap.) Very well done.

From left to right is Sophie down in the orchestra pit (it looks claustrophobic to me), Sophie and Merrick after the show, and Merrick with his favorite character Mrs. Brill, the housekeeper.
