Moody chimneys

After 12 hours of solid sleep last night (don't ask me how, if anything I usually veer towards insomnia!) I felt well rested enough to go for a bit of a wander this afternoon. Really just an excuse so that I could amble around Paperchase and admire all the bright pretty things (I have a weird thing for stationery!)

I do like a nice slow walk down George St every now and again, I love how a lot of the original 18thC buildings are still there and haven't been completely obliterated by the shops. There are always lots of lovely things to look at and its much more elegant and gentle than the noisy hustle and bustle of Princes St, which really suits me :o)

So todays blip is a wee bit of light over the chimney pots on the roofs of George St. I really love chimneys for some reason! One of my most favourite things is the evening sunshine later in the year hitting the tops of the buildings and lighting up the chimneys. Have to wait a wee bit for that - but this will do for now.
