Gartmorn Dam

We had a walk round Gartmorn Dam near Alloa this afternoon. It was cold and dull but the walk is a fine one on a good path and with lots to keep the interest in the way of bird and plant life. A blip of some such was likely but this shot of the island in the dam, decked still in some glorious colour, won the day! I keep thinking " no more autumn trees" and then an irresistable image comes along!
