Monte Carlo

Beautiful walk from Menton to Monte Carlo - though many, many ascents and descents. Monte Carlo was crammed with tourists following flag waving guides all excited to see the preparations for the rally and the ridiculously expensive cars littering the streets. We didn’t have too long to explore but did manage to see the casinos, port and Japanese Gardens. (Amelie and Sophia, we did have a glass of wine - but sadly Jessica Fletcher couldn’t join us as she’d already left to solve another case!)
Tomorrow Villa Rothschild and Nice - by bus.
