Mmmmmm!
Quite ordinary plums are, hopefully, transformed into a most delicious pudding, just right for this time of year.
Honey, cinnamon, cardoman seeds, red wine, bay leaves and star anise are cooked together for a few moments and then poured over the cut plums.
Now they have been in a slow oven for almost an hour, and the kitchen smells wonderful!!
