Cuckoo Cuckoo

Arriving in Lafitte's Cove, a very upmarket residential area with a Preserve snuggled within it's amazing properties, the very first thing we all saw was the cuckoo. 

A Yellow-billed solitary cuckoo just hanging around on a branch. A first for me as I've never taken any sort of cuckoo shot before. 

My Extra is a White-faced Ibis in breeding plumage which came within camera reach luckily for me on the other side of the pond and was checking out the aquatic prey on the edges.
