This isn’t the end...

...it’s only the beginning.

Es finished Secondary school today. This is her on her first day of Primary 1 and this morning on her last day of Secondary School. She starts study leave next week and then has her final set of SQA exams so is fully finished mid May but this was her last day of full time Secondary school.

Felt quite emotional this morning. I remember when she was that wee lass in the pinafore. Her Dad went to collect her from school one afternoon in her first week. I saw them coming up the road and she looked buckled...still breaks my heart that memory.

And now thirteen years on she headed off for her last day...where does the time go?

Her Dad and I are very proud of her. She has achieved a lot and she has a lot to be proud of too.

In September she is not headed all that far away...she finally made her Uni choice at the weekend, she’s been keeping us on tender hooks...and English Studies with Film and Media, at Stirling University was the decision. She still says she is moving out though...

Grateful for the school experience that our Es has had.
