Gardening and black garlic
Lots of gardening today, morning, afternoon and evening. Planting, clearing, weeding, grass cutting. As it was another sunny day, this was all very enjoyable, but we kind of collapsed into chairs about 5pm with a glass of red wine. Energy levels restored, I tackled dinner. Asparagus with lardons and parmesan to start. I made a rub of chopped parsley, black garlic and lemon juice, fried off some pork chops, placed them in foil covered with the rub, and finished them in the oven. The main was served with wild rice and butter. Gaillac Passion to accompany. Tired now!
