Stanmer Woods

I went swimming this morning, but there was a sign on reception saying that they'd had problems with the water temperature again, and the water in the indoor pool wasn't as warm as normal.  It was only 1 degree warmer than the outdoor pool, and as the aqua gym class was due to start, I decided to swim outside.  It was 26 degrees and with the air temperature being quite cold, it soon felt warm, and there was something quite nice about swimming outside when it started to rain!

I then went to Stanmer Park in search of the bluebells that I'd seen on 'Brighton Skies'.  One of the guys in the group had posted a photo of where he found them, so I had an idea where to go and I'm glad he did as I would have probably given up as they weren't easy to find.  Unfortunately it started raining quite heavy while I was there, so I didn't get many photos, but as the tulips won yesterday, today's blip had to be of the bluebells.

This afternoon I went to Sainsbury's to do a food shop and now I need to get ready as I'm going to meet Sandra and Lu with baby Nieve for an early dinner.    I'll have to dash, but I'll catch up with you later, have a nice evening!
