Clematis recovers
Two years ago, I cut back what was a very tangled mass of Clematis montana so hard that last year it produced no flowers. This spring, I'm delighted to see lots of fat, delicate pink buds. Soon it should be a mass of small pink flowers. Meanwhile, our bluebells' buds are just beginning to open in the garden (see Extra), as our nearby roadside banks become bluer by the hour. Thank you to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday yet again.
It's cold and wet today though the rain seems to have stopped now. Hope it'll be better tomorrow. Have a lovely weekend, blipmates!
