Celery

Raining again...so I was looking around the house for a blip. The pale background doesn't help, but this seemed a possibility. I like the uprightness of a head of celery, and the way it seems to be waiting for the right moment to burst out into something altogether less restrained. This had gone a bit floppy in the fridge but a couple of hours in a mug of water seems to have revived it. You always have to buy more celery than you could reasonably eat, so I'll have to think up a recipe to despatch the rest of this one. Or eat lots of salad. 

Maybe tomorrow for clematis, although at this rate it'll start dropping its petals before I get a chance.
