Epsom Downs

Managed to get away early for my drive south.  Always good to be on the motorway when it isn't too busy.  Good trip desipite roadworks at several places.  Arrived in High Wycombe late morning where I caught up with a friend for lunch and shopping.

From there to Epsom to stay with No 2 son.   We were joined by No 1 son - lovely to see them.  We went out to dinner at a pub on Epsom Downs and this was the view north from there.

Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the arrival of their new son - and on St George's Day - that's good timing.
