Reprobates

Tonight was the annual charity Karting Grand Prix organised by the Southern Group of Motoring Writers. Motor industry teams from across the country converged on the tough and entertaining three-level kart track in Crawley, near Gatwick airport.

The event was won for the third year running by the super-quick Ford team, and well done them! So who are these reprobates, winners of the wooden spoon award for the highest number of penalties incurred during the marathon race? Oh dear, it was our own journalists team representing the Southern Group. Oops!

It was a highly competitive night, everyone had a lot of fun, and best of all we raised over £3,000 for Mission Motorsport, the charity that helps injured servicemen rebuild their strength through involvement in motor racing.
