Paper

A day out with my photography group and a visit to the Frogmore Paper Mill, in Apsley near Hemel Hempstead.

This is an industrial museum, based in the buildings which were at the heart of the paper making industry of the UK.

Paper making is still going on and we saw paper, which incorporates wild flower seed, being made ready for export.

The blip shows the end of their old full scale papermaking machine where the paper was dried before being rolled onto drums for sale to users.
