All Write

I really like this term in reception. The children all have a good grasp of phonics by now and they come on in leaps and bounds. It amazes me that they come to us barely able to write their names and 2 terms in can write fairly complicated sentences. In phonics today I put a picture on the board and asked them to write a caption to go with it.
This one says ‘ The hamster is eating his lunch’.

I’ve just been uploading the days photos onto the online platform we use to share observations with parents. Some of the writing isn’t quite as easy to read as this one.

Off to choir now so the rest will have to wait.
