Passing

I worked from home today so I managed to get out for a walk around the village before I sat down at my desk. It was such a delight.  The sun was shining and the air cool but clear.  It is the first time in days that I have had a chance to relax and do something for myself.  I saw my first baby birds - some young coots on the village stream, and heard my first chiff chaff.  As I returned through the church yard the sun was catching the blue bells and fresh green foliage of an oak tree.  I noticed these two little graves up against the wall.  I didn't investigate them further but will do next time I am passing.

Many thanks for all your kind comments and my sincere apologies for my lack of conversation - I will be catching up again very shortly!
