Birdwatching
This is what we do- stare at reeds all day. In this case on the Dee estuary looking across to the new bridge to Flint and the Clwyd Hills. And there are also the sounds- especially at this time of year. Today we were rewarded with the sight and sound of a reed warbler, a sedge warbler and a grasshopper warbler. As well as swallows, swifts, house martin and sand Martin. Quite early, given the weather- but then perhaps they had been escaping equally bad weather on their journey.
