Spot the forgery!

Not sure it would fool Christie's or Sotheby's. It was painted by the son of Goff, whom you see in the blip, not by JMW Turner as I'm sure you thought. The group is The Word Counts, the writing group to which we belong. Our homework for this week was "The train stopped..." and resulted in some rather otherworldly and spooky stories. You can see we're in earnest discussion- about strictly literary matters, of course. It's quite untrue that we ever digress and talk about our holidays or relations or the state of the town or other things!
